The Melville Bowling Club financial year runs from 1st May through to 30th April annually. Membership categories and fees are described below. Fees are discounted quarterly for new members joining mid term. New Bowling members wanting to learn the skills of the game, can enjoy the benefit of free coaching by a number of club coaches, all are Bowls WA accredited. This includes a $100 Members Credit.
Any person over the age of eighteen years shall, upon application to and election by the Management Committee, become a Full Member of the Club.
Rights and entitlements of Full members: –
(a) Shall be entitled for election to the Management Committee.
(b) Shall have the right to attend, speak and vote at all General Meetings.
(c) May play lawn bowls at the Club on all days when the Club is open for play and subject to greens being available.
(d) May participate in Club Championship events, inter club competitions organised by the Bowls WA and inter and intra club competitions organised by the Club or other Clubs, if eligible may attend all social functions organised by the Club.
(e) May bring guests, visitors and prospective Members to the Club to use the facilities provided by the Club.
NB: Novice Bowlers may be eligible for a significant discount on full membership fees for the first year.

For members over the age of 80, 25% discount
This includes a $100 Members Credit.
Social Bowling Members may play bowls at the Club on all days when the Club is open for play and subject to greens being available.
(a) may bring guests, visitors and prospective members to the Club to use the facilities provided by the Club
(b) shall be ineligible to play in officially organised and programmed events
(c) may attend any social function organised by the Club
Any person having attained the age of twelve years and being under eighteen years shall, upon application to and election by the Management Committee, become a Junior Member of the Club.
This includes a $20 Members Credit.
A Social Member shall not be entitled to hold any office, become a member of any committee or
speak or vote on any matter at any meeting of the Club, neither shall they be entitled to play bowls except at the specific invitation of any member of the Management Committee.
Provisional, Junior, Social, Social Bowling, Country and Honorary Members shall not have any right, title or interest in or to any property of the Club, nor propose or second any candidate for admission as a member.
Nor are they entitled to hold office in the club, to speak or vote at any meeting.
Junior Members shall not bring any guest into the Club premises.
